ENTREPRENEURSHIP: START-UP AND BUSINESS OWNER MANAGEMENT Interested in starting, owning, and operating a business? The Entrepreneurship: Start-up and Business Owner Management Online Training Program gives you the knowledge you need. This program covers everything from financing to leadership. You'll learn the keys to business planning, communication skills, marketing, and management. If you've ever thought about owning your own business, this program can help make that dream come true! Upon registering, you're given six months to complete the program. Should you need more time, you may request a six-month extension at no additional charge. REQUIREMENTS: This program must be taken on a PC. It is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems and IE 7 and later browsers. In addition, you'll need to have Internet Explorer, Adobe Reader, Flash Plug-in, and a QuickTime plug-in on your computer (all are available through free downloads). Along with this program, you'll receive the following required textbooks: How to Read a Financial Report Applied Strategic Planning Managing by the Numbers Anatomy of a Business Plan PRE-REQUISITES: Students should have basic keyboarding and computer skills and be comfortable navigating the Internet. They must also have an understanding of a word-processing computer program (Microsoft Word is recommended), and have e-mail capabilities. This program is intended for anyone interested in developing their enterprise management skills, whether you want to start your own business or gain a better understanding of how to operate an established business.
